About Self Employment Assistance Support

The Self Employment Assistance Program is a business coaching program that helps small business owners get their business up and running.  Building your brand, finding customers, legal and ethical issues, and financial strain are just some of the areas new business owners are navigating.  On top of all that other areas of your life are still moving.  Small business owners can experience:

  • anxiety
  • depression
  • loneliness or social isolation
  • imposter syndrome
  • decreased self esteem
  • strained relationships

Having been a participant in the SEA program I experienced the pressures that you may be experiencing right now.  Counselling can help you to:

  • develop coping skills to prevent burnout
  • improve decision-making skills
  • improve communication skills
  • increase your self esteem
  • set and achieve your business and personal goals
  • resolve conflict whether in business or in your personal relationships

How it Works

Pricing and Requirements

SEA participants are eligible for the discounted rate of $99 per session.  An email* from your SEA provider confirming your acceptance into the program is required prior to the discount being applied.

For the first appointment payment is required at the time of booking and will be processed by Stripe.  After that payment can be made on the day by Stripe or direct deposit.

*This is the standard email that providers send to you.  Your provider does not need to be told that you are seeing a counsellor.

Appointments

Every session is by appointment only. Appointments are completed online over Zoom or by phone.  This means that you can access the support that you need without disrupting your already busy schedule.  You can read about the benefits of online counselling here.

It is recommended that appointments are made weekly to begin with.  This helps provide you with consistency and maintain momentum.  I understand this can be difficult at times so if you think this may not be possible please let me know.

Confidentiality

Confidentiality is an integral part of counselling practice.  Records are kept in compliance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) as amended by the Privacy Amendment (Enhancing Privacy Protection) Act 2012.  More information is included in your client contract.

It is not necessary for your SEA provider to be notified that you are seeing a counsellor.

If you have any questions about privacy and confidentiality please ask at any time.
